Scouting for Boating’s Best

Image 6

For us at the Nautical Scout nautical living starts with the creature comforts that enhance your experience on the water.  We are boaters and sailors at heart and we live for the water.   However, it is not always easy to find the rights products, particularly soft goods, that fit well into a boaters life style.

The products that best fit our nautical living are those that share smart boat-worthy features.  These features include clever design or saving space.  Maybe they are non-slip or airtight to be preserve freshness.   When it comes to drinkware we love unbreakable and scratch resistant.  Oh and I did we mention style?  Why can’t style be a part of smart boat-worthy products?   How many boating accessories do you look at and think, if only that looked half way decent I could use that on my ‘yacht’?  Our goal is to scout out the best products from around the globe to make your experience ever better!

For us, Nautical living also means we are Blue Water Conscious.  By this we mean, as eco-friendly as possible.  We care about our oceans, bays, and lakes and believe all boaters have a responsibility to do their part to keep our waterways clean.  We also care about our health and try to make sure our galley ware is safe for it’s intended use.

Ultimately, our goal is to make it easier for you to find the little things that can make a big difference to you and you family’s experience aboard your yacht.

But, having found the value in having a sturdy galley item that would shrink to a third it’s normal size, we were hooked.

Since then we have added to our collection of collapsables to include a ‘salad spinner’, which doubles as a mixing bowl and vegetable wash, a collapsable funnel, and…
